Bern/Switzerland invites applications for the following post:
Lectureship for "New Work in Organizations"
(75-100%, temporary post with the possibility of conversion to permanent post
after 4 years)
The main responsibilities for this post are teaching and research on
organizational issues in the field of new work.
Your responsibilities
Conducting lectures in the area of new work in organizations (lectures on
"Introduction to New Work", "Organizational Development", a specialization
in the area "New Work" and, if applicable, "Organizational Behavior").
Language of instruction are German and English.
Research in the field of experimental business studies on issues of
organization in general and in particular in the field of new work (e.g.
self-management and agile working, dealing with new challenges in the
workplace, working in a changing environment, teamwork and the general
handling of change).
Supervision of bachelor and master theses, and, where appropriate,
doctoral students.
Your qualifications
PhD, preferably with a focus on experimental business research.
Evidence of publications in renowned international journals in the field
of organization and new work (at least Jourqual 3, B-Level).
Experience in planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of large-
scale field experiments and laboratory experiments.
University teaching experience in the area of organization.
Further didactic training in the field of university teaching is an
advantage.
Network with practitioners in the context of teaching and research.
Very good knowledge of German and English.
