A unique opportunity exists to join the number one rated nursing school for Overall Experience (Undergraduate) in South Australia (2022/23 Good Universities Guide). In this position, you will play a significant role contributing to postgraduate teaching, research and student development. You will also contribute to undergraduate teaching and university service as expected of a Level B academic.

The Adelaide Nursing School are seeking an experienced and innovative teaching focussed academic staff member, passionate about preparing the next generation of health care professionals. We encourage applications from individuals with demonstrable experience across all nursing settings, candidates with recent clinical experience within a perioperative environment are especially encouraged to apply.

To be successful you will need:

  • Postgraduate qualifications of at least Graduate Diploma within a field relevant to Nursing.
  • Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated experience in the conduct of tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops and clinical sessions.
  • Strong teaching interests with demonstrated ability for cross-disciplinary teaching and collaboration.
  • Ability to mark and assess effectively and provide support to students by delivering appropriate feedback.
