The Department of Economics, Finance, and Marketing at Tennessee Technological University invites applications for a full-time, renewable, non-tenure track Lecturer position in Economics to begin August 1, 2023. Primary teaching responsibilities will include Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics. Depending on specific qualifications and departmental needs, other courses may also be taught.

Essential Functions
Tennessee Technological University and the College of Business emphasize quality teaching. Instruction is provided primarily in the classroom, but online/hybrid learning courses are also offered. Mentor students and serve on departmental, college, and university committees.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate degree (Master's Degree or higher) with a concentration in economics or a related field from an accredited institution. Candidates should demonstrate the potential for excellent teaching.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience (both in-person and online).
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Full-time, renewable, non-tenure track position starting August 2023.
Benefits Information
Benefits include the accumulation of one (1) sick leave day per month and thirteen (13) University holidays. Other benefits include medical and life insurance (shared cost with the university), retirement, optional 401k, and educational benefits. Deferred income and benefits over 12 months.
