The Department invites applications for a Lecturer post for the Urban Studies
Programme. Applicants should (i) have a Master degree or above in geography,
planning, urban studies or other related disciplines; (ii) demonstrate
potential for teaching excellence and for contributing actively and
productively to enhancement of the Programme; and (iii) have at least four
years' post-Master experience in teaching cultural geography and urban studies
The appointee will (a) teach introductory courses at undergraduate level;
(b) coordinate students' final-year theses; and (c) assist in the
Programme's administration and development.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to two years
commencing December 2022, renewable subject to funding, performance and mutual
