The Melbourne Graduate School of Education (MGSE) is a global leader in
teaching and education research, offering challenging courses, world-changing
research and contemporary learning spaces.
About the role
MGSE currently delivers professional learning in Instructional leadership to
school leaders in government schools in South Australia, through their
leadership Institute, Orbis. MGSE has been contracted to deliver up to eight
cohorts per year of the Instructional Leadership program over 2022-2024. This
Lecturer Teaching Specialist position will support the development and
delivery of that program throughout 2022, through delivery of some of the
professional learning days and provision of coaching to participants. Travel
will be required for delivery of the programs in South Australia.
The successful applicant will hold a masters degree in education and a
teaching qualification, and be able to:
Demonstrate experience as a teacher and leader;
Demonstrate experience in the development and delivery of professional
Demonstrate an understanding of evidence-based practice and the use of
data to change practice;
Demonstrate the ability to provide coaching to teachers and leaders in
