About the Role In addition to delivering lectures and coordinating subjects at the undergraduate level and contributing the MSLC's activities, including new tutor selection and training, you will contribute to learning and teaching innovation in the School and is expected to undertake research/scholarship of teaching and learning in tertiary mathematics or statistics education. You will also work with the outreach team in the School of Mathematics and Statistics, to develop and implement a targeted suite of programs, resources and events for the purpose of promoting mathematics and statistics
Your responsibilities will include:
Undertaking lectures and small group classes including Workshops, Tutorials and Computer Laboratories
Contribute to research into mathematics or statistics education and teaching pedagogies, especially at the undergraduate level.
Advising students on academic and administrative matters pertaining to the subject and course
Who We Are Looking For You will have a strong background in mathematics or statistics education, showcasing exceptional teaching prowess and innovative methods. You will posses a proven record of enhancing teaching practices, contributing to educational research and have a good familiarity with Victoria's school curriculum.
