We are looking for an outstanding individual to contribute to the delivery of
our highly successful Advanced Programmes in Pharmacy Practice and
Therapeutics (AP3T) suite of courses. This may be an excellent opportunity
for a practicing health professional to explore work in the academic sector.
This post will provide temporary (1 year) cover with a focus specifically on
the delivery of the Independent Prescribing (IP) unit but may also be
required to contribute to other courses across the department and also support
the teaching of other healthcare professionals or with partner organisations.
As such we require that applicants themselves are qualified and annotated
The Independent Prescribing unit is highly regarded and delivers high quality
teaching of clinical and consultation skills to pharmacists in practice. The
successful individual will be keen to combine their expert professional
practice with a desire to develop others through the application of their
teaching and learning skills. This appointment will work within an experienced
team to support the teaching and learning of our postgraduate students across
a range of competencies.
The successful individual would be required to cover a range of face to face
and online teaching activities, and support assessment, evaluation and
pastoral support for students.
This post is a fixed-term, part-time (0.2FTE) role. We welcome applicants
who wish to do this as a part-time role, those who wish to maintain a clinical
/ alternative commitment in their non-University hours or also those who may
