The College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare

The College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare delivers a range of healthcare and social work courses across Berkshire and London and has a wide range of CPD provision. We have excellent partnerships with many healthcare and social care organisations across the NHS, Social Services and in the private, voluntary, and independent sector. We are a supportive and collegiate team and strongly encourage individuals in their continuing professional development.

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, innovative social work educator to join our team of dedicated academics to support the delivery of courses in social work at UG and PG level. Our new BSocial Work (Hons) commenced in September 2021 and the successful candidate will have a key role in its delivery. An excellent appreciation of the SWE (2019) Professional Standards and SWE Education and Training Standards (2021) is essential. Candidates should demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, other academics, social work practitioners, and with our support and technical staff. You will be expected to assist in the development and delivery of learning materials that are relevant, evidence-based, and current, to maintain the high quality of learning and teaching associated with the college.
