Harper Adams University seeks two highly motivated, innovative and experienced
veterinary physiotherapists with interests across all areas of veterinary
physiotherapy education, practice and research to expand the veterinary
physiotherapy programme at Harper Adams University.
These roles will involve teaching and research responsibilities. We are
seeking individuals who can use their experience, knowledge and skills to
enhance our undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary physiotherapy
programmes, whilst also further developing veterinary physiotherapy research
at the University.
This is an exciting time in the development of Harper Adams University, with
the very well-established and highly regarded veterinary physiotherapy and
veterinary nursing programmes now joined by veterinary medicine through the
Harper & Keele Veterinary School, which had its first student intake in
September 2020. This provides excellent opportunities for inter-professional
education between these allied professions, and the opportunity to develop a
novel and innovative education and research portfolio.
It is essential that the successful candidates hold undergraduate or
postgraduate qualifications in veterinary physiotherapy, and that they have
high-level clinical physiotherapy skills and experience, and a willingness to
be involved in conducting scientific research. A high degree of team-working
and excellent interpersonal skills are also requirements for these roles.
For an informal discussion about the roles please contact either Helen
Morrell, Associate Head of the Department of Veterinary Health and Animal
Sciences at firstname.lastname@example.org or Carole Brizuela, Programme Manager
in Veterinary Physiotherapy at email@example.com.
