Be part of a university making a real impact.

The University has a simple aim – to transform lives. We are shaping futures for our students and the Sheffield City Region, creating knowledge that makes a real difference, and becoming a beacon for what a world-leading applied university can achieve. That is why Times Higher Education named us 2021 Outstanding Entrepreneurial University of the Year.

The Business School is the UK's most recent business school to be awarded AACSB accreditation putting the UK's largest Business School amongst the top 5% of providers globally. Home to over 3,700 students and 100 staff, the Department of Management is a progressive and innovative department, that has at its core the creation of a high-quality student and staff experience.

One of our main priorities is to create highly employable graduates with the latest knowledge and real-world skills to maximise their future potential. We have an ambitious programme of change for the future, simplifying the University's academic offer and embedding flexible operation

We are looking for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to join our strategic management subject group.

You will need:

• An MBA or master's qualification

• Experience of teaching within the field of strategic management, responsible management, enterprise, and change across UG, PG and corporate programmes, covering a range of strategic management areas

• Professional experience in the field of business management

• The ability to inspire, enthuse and connect with a range of learners by designing and delivering transformative and innovative learning experiences

• Experience of responsible and ethical management practice.

We are also keen to strengthen our research profile and are looking for someone who will contribute to this agenda, so a track record of publication along with a strong research focus going forward would be a distinct advantage.
