Job description

Due to course expansion, we are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic colleague with a primary focus on neurological physiotherapy and rehabilitation. This should be someone who shares our passion for high-quality physiotherapy education and has a strong vision for how education and research can transform health care in terms of current clinical practice and health services nationally.

Depending on levels of experience the postholder would be assigned the Senior Lecturer or Lecturer grade.

The role will lie within the Subject group of ‘Therapeutic and Rehabilitation Sciences' which provides undergraduate and postgraduate pre-registration education on our Physiotherapy courses, Occupational Therapy courses, Sports and Exercise Therapy courses and post-registration education for MSc Sports and Exercise Medicine course. The successful candidate will be a registered physiotherapist and have recent experience as an evidence-based practitioner. You should have current or recent relevant professional and/or teaching experience in order to teach across our undergraduate and Master's pre-registration courses. You should have a strong professional profile that complements the team and be interested in research and/or evidence-based practice. Ideally you should have a postgraduate qualification with a willingness to complete a Master's or Doctoral programme.
