About the Role:
The School of Engineering and the Built Environment delivers successful undergraduate, postgraduate and degree apprenticeship courses. We are seeking an experienced civil engineering lecturer to teach on undergraduate, postgraduate and degree apprentice programmes whilst making a contribution to the school's research programmes in the area of infrastructure engineering, environmental engineering, green infrastructure and ecosystem services, or circular economy.
With a degree in a related subject, you will have a PhD or Professional Doctorate (or be nearing completion within the first 18 months of employment for Lecturer appointments). With excellent written and oral communications skills, you will have experience working as a civil engineer and/or teaching civil engineering or a related subject. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, you'll be IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, and you will ensure high standards of teaching and provide an excellent student experience.
