Join a dedicated School committed to delivering world class learning, teaching and research Stay connected: deliver high-class equine surgery services at our state- of-the-art Veterinary Clinical Centre Lead with impact: play a significant role in advancing the discipline through research and teaching priorities The Role Continuing, Full Time Level B/C/D - AU$102,486 to AU$165,866 pa (plus 17% superannuation) Additional clinical loading and remuneration for after-hours duties Wagga Wagga (relocation and migration assistance provided) We are currently seeking an outstanding equine surgeon and educator who will actively contribute to teaching innovation, research and professional and academic leadership. Teaching will be delivered to undergraduate and postgraduate (residents) cohorts and leadership in the provision of high- quality equine surgery services at our Veterinary Clinical Centre in Wagga Wagga will be required. To be successful in this role, you will have proven leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with a demonstrated commitment to upholding the University's values and the advancement of the discipline of equine surgery and the veterinary profession. Eligibility for registration as a Veterinarian with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW is essential for this position in addition to specialist qualifications in equine surgery or eligibility to obtain. The successful candidate will be appointed to either a teaching research or teaching professional work function and will have access to the University's generous relocation support scheme. To be successful you will have: Eligibility for registration as a Veterinarian with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW Board certification by the American and/or European College of Veterinary Surgeons and/or the Australian and NZ College of Veterinary Scientists or eligibility to sit board examination or equivalent A record of academic achievement of national and/or international standing through outstanding contributions to the profession Demonstrated ability to provide effective leadership and/ or build people capability in an academic setting to deliver outcomes Application Requirements Applicants are expected to apply online and address the selection criteria in the position description.
