    An exciting opportunity is available to join our team responsible for the delivery of Public Health courses, and in particular the Emergency Management discipline. You will contribute to the teaching efforts of the School while also translating your scholarly research findings to benefit student learning and experience.

    You will be responsible for delivering assigned teaching responsibilities both on and off campus, ensuring effective planning, preparation, presentation, and assessment all aimed at helping students successfully meet the objectives of their units and courses across a range of areas in the Public Health / Emergency Management discipline.     Position Requirements
  • Relevant PhD or working towards a PhD, or equivalent in a relevant Public Health/Emergency Management discipline.
  • Proven ability to teach and supervise postgraduate University students with experience engaging with tertiary students and supporting their educational development through multi-modal delivery strategies.
  • Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and liaise effectively with multidisciplinary academics and team members, health care professionals, community and professional bodies and other key stakeholders.
  • Experience undertaking a full teaching load including undertaking marking of assessments, maintaining academic integrity and providing feedback to students to improve their overall knowledge and skills.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary and Adult Education.
