  • About ARU:

Anglia Ruskin is a vibrant workplace and our University is gaining prominence both nationally and internationally. We have ambitious plans for the future and we are determined that our students and staff will realise their full potential. Our main campuses in the cities of Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough have been transformed with major capital investment. With an annual turnover of over £200m, we are a major force for higher education and one of the largest universities in the East of England.

    About the role:

You will be joining the successful Sport and Exercise Sciences team: home to the top ranked (No 1) Sport and Exercise Sciences courses in the UK (The Guardian University League Tables 2020-21) and the Cambridge Centre for Sport and Exercise Sciences, located in the Faculty of Science and Engineering on our Cambridge campus. We are forward-looking and enthusiastic, with a vision that combines commitment to a strong and active research culture with excellence in learning and teaching. We are seeking an experienced and motivated lecturer to work in the Discipline of Sport and Exercise Science, specifically to contribute to teaching and administration on our Sport & Exercise Therapy course.

We are looking for a Sport Therapist to join our team. The prospective candidate will be delivering across the teaching and learning portfolio in Sport and Exercise Therapy, and opportunities to develop their research in the vision sciences.

You will have current professional/industry qualifications and experience in teaching and learning in higher education. You'll have a track-record of applied practice and networking in the field along with a commitment to CPD. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the broad range of the School's teaching portfolio, in particular our campus-based BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Therapy course, professionally accredited by the Society of Sports Therapists. You will also demonstrate the ability and desire to contribute to the School's research & consulting activities.
