Job descriptionThe University College Groningen (UCG) is a faculty of the University of Groningen that started a Liberal Arts and Sciences programme in September 2014. The UCG Liberal Arts and Sciences programme offers broad academic education with a focus on engagement to societal challenges through project- based education and interdisciplinary integration. The UCG community is internationally oriented, with staff and students from across the globe. Learning environments are generally small scale and interactive.
Position We are looking for a lecturer for the course “International Marketing'” in the Social Sciences major (https: // ocasys.rug.nl/current/catalog/course/UCG2SS10). The course is on an introductory level and draws upon theoretical principles of marketing and applies them to an international context. The course teaches marketing basics and covers value creation, global branding, communication, and product development, amongst other topics, with an emphasis on cultural considerations inherent in international business, and their relation to marketing decision- making. The course is scheduled for block three (semester 2a) of the academic year 2023/24 (February to April 2024).
