  • About the position

    We are looking for a Level B teaching focussed appointment to support the activities of our high performing occupational therapy discipline with the Department of Rural Allied Health. You should be passionate about rural health and wellbeing and committed to developing high quality occupational therapy and allied health graduates within the regions. With the support of the existing team, this part-time position will contribute specifically to the implementation of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) degree in the La Trobe Rural Health School and contribute to refining and developing content and curriculum. The position will provide some autonomy of work activities in collaboration with staff at Bendigo and Bundoora.

    Skills and Experience

    To be considered for this position, you will have

  • PhD degree or a degree in Occupational Therapy and Ahpra registration
  • Demonstrated competence in teaching and curriculum development
  • Sound analytical skills with an ability to communicate complex information clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Clear understanding of the accreditation requirements for occupational therapy and skill capabilities of an entry level occupational therapist
