Lecturer - Nursing
Principle Duties: The School of Nursing at Purdue University West
Lafayette Campus is seeking energetic and innovative faculty for a Lecturer
position. We are committed to advancing diversity in all areas of faculty
effort, including teaching and engagement. The successful candidate(s) will
possess a passion for innovation and developing nurse leaders who can
transform healthcare. The candidate(s) will be open to the use of
technology, simulation and creative pedagogies that contribute to the growth
and development of baccalaureate nursing students. Teaching settings include
classroom, clinical, and simulation. Clinical expertise in Obstetric/Women's
Health and/or Psychiatric Mental Health nursing preferred. Individuals in this
role will contribute to the teaching and service missions of the University,
College of Health and Human Sciences, and School of Nursing.
Master's degree in Nursing required
Clinical experience (minimum 3 years)
Eligibility for RN licensure in Indiana
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
