Lecturer in Sport

Job description

Permanent, full time

The School of Human and Health Sciences at the University of Huddersfield is seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer to make contributions to the academic work of the Division of Sport, Exercise, and Public Health. This will include teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students on our sport and physical education, sport and exercise science, and sport nutrition programmes. A particular focus on coaching and psychology is central to this role.

With a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline, you will have the ability to contribute to the research of the Division. Experience of coaching multiple sports, in addition to relevant teaching experience in Higher Education are also necessary. You will have a proactive attitude, and be able to undertake student centred teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure a positive student experience.

We are seeking highly motivated and talented candidates, who will not only make the most of opportunities provided by our School, but also help to develop new opportunities in research and teaching.
