The University of North Carolina Asheville Department of Sociology and Anthropology invites applications for a one-year Lecturer in Sociology to begin Fall 2022. The successful candidate will teach introductory and other courses in Sociology. Candidates with teaching experience in research methods are strongly encouraged to apply. Other areas of specialty are open. The successful candidate should possess a PhD in Sociology and ABDs will also be considered. The position requires teaching 3 in-person courses (12 contact hours) per semester.
