The Faculty of Business and Law is a leading provider of higher education
across the breadth of business and law disciplines. Within the Business
School, the Marketing, Branding and Tourism (MBT) Department with about 50

As part of our development programme to further advance and expand our
academic excellence, we are looking to recruit a Lecturer in Sales Practice
(leadership role and postgraduate teaching) to contribute to the delivery
and development of our Apprenticeship programmes in Sales Practice and Sales
Leadership especially at the postgraduate level.
This role requires a person with Sales experience who can deliver high quality
teaching appropriate for apprenticeships. Knowledge of delivering higher
apprenticeships is desirable and having experience of a corporate world and
industry is also key. The post holder will need to have the Business to
Business Sales experience necessary to support the degree apprenticeships at
both undergraduate and postgraduate levels i.e. Level 7 and Level 6. The role
requires a person who is familiar with the demands of work-based learning and
understands the need to build relationships with the employers and the
apprentices as well as the need to meet the compliance needs of apprenticeship
In addition the post holder will be able to lead the post graduate programme.
A masters level qualification is essential, and a DBA or PhD and recent
experience as a Sales practitioner is essential. You should be able to
demonstrate innovativeness in your approach to learning and teaching and
engagement with external stakeholders.
This is a fractional appointment (part-time).
