Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing

Grade 7 - £35,326 to £39,739 (pro rata) per annum, dependent on experience

In one of the largest providers of nurse education in the UK, you will be
working with a large, vibrant community of academics, practitioners and
researchers with a commitment to providing high quality, research informed
teaching, to ensure active learning.
You will have a broad academic remit including teaching, supporting students
and scholarly activities across the under-graduate and post-graduate
curricula. You will be expected to teach students from other healthcare
professions and we are particularly interested in someone who is has worked in
an integrated way in practice.
You must have current NMC registration (mental health), evidence of on-going
professional development and be able to demonstrate study at an advanced
level. You will also have well-developed and current knowledge and
understanding of critical, practical and theoretical issues relevant to Mental
Health Nursing. Expertise and experience in one or more of psychological
therapies, forensic nursing, physical health care or young persons mental
health is desirable.
