This is a part time (0.5 fte) permanent appointment.
The School of Law at Oxford Brookes University provides an intellectually stimulating, friendly and supportive environment in which to work and study. As part of its development strategy, the School of Law is seeking to appoint staff at Reader, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer levels, to further support its teaching, research and knowledge exchange strategies.
We are seeking candidates who will contribute to our developing research culture, enhance our student experience and employability strategy, and contribute to teaching particular courses.
Successful candidates will have a record of teaching students across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in several current School of Law areas of need, such as (but not limited to) Family, Equity and Trusts, Computer Law, Intellectual Property Law, International Trade and Commercial Law, Business and Corporate law.
Candidates for Lecturer roles in the School of Law should have PhDs that are completed or nearing submission or equivalent experience; a demonstrable record of administrative, research, and teaching activity that accords with the current needs of the School of Law, and have an developing record of high- quality research outputs and/or knowledge exchange or professional activity.
