Specified Purpose Whole Time Post

(anticipated duration 6 months)

UCC wishes to appoint a Lectureship particularly but not exclusively in the fields of Child Law, Human Rights Law, Marine or Maritime Law, Criminal Law, Law of Evidence and Planning and/or Environmental Law.The post is intended to build on existing areas of strength in the School. The School may appoint one or more part-time candidates to the post. The post holder will be expected to be research active with the potential for securing ERC funding and align their research with the appropriate UCC Futures Cluster and will be expected to make a full contribution to the School's programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level as appropriate under the direction of the Dean of the School of Law.

Appointment for the post will be made on the Lecturer (Below the Bar) Salary Scale: €35,600 - €62,604 (Scale B) / €37,530 - €59,571 (Scale A)

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy
