Join one of the biggest schools of information studies in the world Progress an active research and teaching career Flexible working arrangements available The Role Full time, Fixed Term (up to 2 years) Level B - $102,486 to $121,504 pa (plus 17% superannuation) Wagga Wagga (other locations may be considered) We are currently seeking an academic to teach a range of subjects in the Bachelor and Master of Information Studies courses and deliver high-quality student-centred learning opportunities. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the discipline of Library and Information Studies by continuing to build a record of research and fostering industry partnerships. The successful candidate would normally be required to work at the Charles Sturt campus at Wagga Wagga, although a flexible working arrangement, where the candidate is based off-campus in another location in Australia, may be negotiable. To be successful you will have: A doctoral qualification relevant to the discipline or equivalent accreditation and standing A record of research related to the discipline Demonstrated capacity to deliver high-quality student-centred learning and teaching Sound knowledge and understanding of Library and Information Studies, with the ability to teach and research in various areas Application Requirements Applicants are expected to apply online and address the selection criteria in the position description. The Faculty of Arts and Education is one of three Faculties within the University.
