We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching) to join our Criminology team. Full time, Part time and Job Share considered. The successful applicant will form part of an enthusiastic and motivated team delivering the BA Criminology Programmes which include collaborative provision with Law, Policing, Forensic Psychology and Sociology. We aim to ensure that our Criminology students are offered an outstanding student experience, and the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a commitment to contribute to this aspiration in a very practical and positive way.

Criminology at Worcester sits within the School of Psychology. The School comprises two departments; Violence Prevention, Trauma and Criminology, and Performance, Health and Wellbeing. We are a forward-thinking, dynamic, creative community dedicated to personal growth and continuing professional development in the fields of criminology and psychology. This role sits within the department of Violence Prevention, Trauma and Criminology. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a collegiate and supportive team of colleagues in our teaching of Criminology. Importantly, successful applicants will be confident and competent in teaching across a range of topics and levels within Criminology. The successful applicant will also act as a personal academic tutor (PAT) and dissertation supervisor to students.

As the role will also require you to develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders across the university and wider community, you will need a high level of inter- personal skill.
