Salary range:
of £37,474 to £43,414 pro rata per annum

A new technology centre (The DigiTech Centre) in partnership with BT plc has opened at Adastral Park (with £9.6m investment including a state-of-the-art Juniper networking sandpit, Cyber Range, AI Compute Server and fully equipped IT suites) and welcomed its first computing students in January 2021.
The Technology Subject Area provides a portfolio of degree programmes in the fields of computing, cyber security, network engineering, artificial intelligence, web development, and games development. Our state-of-the-art facilities and commitment to high-quality teaching, research and knowledge exchange across the spectrum of technology have enabled us to expand our offering significantly in recent years. Due to the temporary leave of a member of staff, the Technology Subject Area is seeking to appoint a fixed-term Lecturer in Computing to undertake teaching and research in cyber security. Although the appointment is fixed term in the first instance, subject to available funding, the post duration may be extended or made permanent.
The ideal candidate will have industry or research experience within the subject area and demonstrable knowledge and practical ability to teach and support students in their learning of cyber security topics.
