The BSc Aviation Management course is a prime example of this commitment to the highest standards within higher education. As a specialised business degree, the course is designed to develop resilient professionals able to proactively apply specialist knowledge, skills and capabilities in a diverse, global aviation industry. In existence for over 14 years, the course has produced graduates that now occupy senior positions within all parts of the industry. To join the multinational aviation teaching team delivering these positive employment outcomes, successful candidates will be able to contribute to the delivery of topics relating to aviation strategy, planning and marketing, from both an airline and airport operator perspective, with an appreciation of airline and airport operations. The ability to contribute to the full range of modules from the BSc Aviation Management curriculum is desirable.
You will need to share our passion for delivering a positive student experience that puts excellence in teaching and learning at the heart of everything we do and will be able to demonstrate significant knowledge in your area of specialisation. You will be expected to undertake curriculum development, design and delivery of teaching that is engaging, innovative and responsive, that achieves excellent student learning outcomes. You must be willing to work flexibly to promote and support international partnerships, as well as potentially deliver teaching onsite at one of our international partners.
This position is a teaching focused post that will attract candidates that wish to focus on pedagogic practice and curriculum design. The candidate should have extensive relevant industrial experience at a senior level or be qualified to PhD level in a relevant subject. Experience of working in professional educational practice/consultancy projects will be advantageous
