The O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University – Bloomington seeks a candidate for the position of lecturer with a background in healthcare administration, management and/or policy. The school supports high quality graduate and undergraduate degrees in healthcare management. The candidate for this full time, renewable, non-tenure track academic year position will teach primarily in our vibrant Healthcare Management and Policy undergraduate major – one of four undergraduate degrees offered in the School. The successful candidate will possess an advanced degree (such as a MHA, MBA, MPH, Ph.D. or equivalent) in healthcare administration, public health, business, public administration/policy, economics, political science, sociology, or a related field. Strong preference will be given to candidates with broad career experience in the healthcare sector, as well as expertise and experience teaching undergraduate courses in healthcare management, contemporary administrative healthcare issues, reimbursement, finance, and/or strategic planning in healthcare organizations. The O'Neill School supports in person, hybrid and online course delivery. In addition to teaching, the candidate will provide teaching-related service, including expert advice on curriculum updates, serve on teaching-related committees, provide faculty leadership for the Healthcare Management and Policy major, and serve as mentor/advisor for health administration students. Career experience in the healthcare sector is highly preferred.

Basic Qualifications
