We are seeking to appoint a part-time Lecturer (Teaching) in plant sciences
on a temporary basis to deliver exceptional teaching and assessment across a
range of undergraduate units with an emphasis on plant biology.
Our teaching consistently receives very high student satisfaction scores in
the National Student Survey (NSS).
You will have a PhD in plant biology, or in a related subject area, and will
be expected to prepare and deliver teaching material, assessment and marking
of coursework in the plant sciences, and supervision of laboratory classes
will be required.
The role carries a high level of responsibility as well as the opportunity to
play a proactive and creative role in the development of teaching activities
in the Department, and you will therefore have a proven record of high-quality
