Essential Job Duties
The Department of Economics in the Poole College of Management of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position at the rank of Lecturer.
Primary responsibility is teaching courses in the undergraduate programs. The candidate is expected to teach various courses, including auditorium sections of principles of economics, intermediate macroeconomics, and money and banking. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to the success of students and programs at the University.
Lecturers typically teach four class sections per semester. Candidates must also be contributing faculty members to department and college service activities.
Subject to budget contingencies, the appointment will begin on August 16, 2023. Applicants should hold a master's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent experience in the appropriate field of interest. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience and credentials.
