The School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics is looking for a lecturer
or assistant professor in Computer Science.
The Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing at Coventry University
is one of the largest in the UK and is nationally and internationally renowned
as a centre of innovation for its teaching, learning and research of computing
subject areas. The School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics is one of
three schools within the faculty and has a very successful suite of courses
supported by excellent staff, teaching facilities and laboratories. The school

Mobile application development
Full stack web development
This position will focus on both web technologies and mobile application
development, although an understanding of other aspects of computer science is

There is an opportunity for a suitable candidate for an appropriate research
record to also join the newly formed Centre for Data Science (CDS). We
favour candidates with research interests on the development of algorithms and
software for automated reasoning. In particular we welcome applicants with
expertise in satisfiability (SAT), satisfiability module theories (SMT),
decision procedures, reasoning for non-linear polynomial systems, the
application of the above in formal verification, and the integration of the
above with data science.
