    About the Role

    Join our team and work collaboratively with both academic and professional staff across UniSA and the University of Adelaide to create engaging learning experiences for the new Adelaide University. You'll play an essential role in promoting effective practices in curriculum design, academic and professional literacies, blended and digital learning, assessment and evaluation, and research in higher education.

    Your support and guidance will be vital in enhancing program curricula, ensuring a balanced approach between traditional and modern teaching methods. You'll also contribute to revising existing curricula and the provision of new offerings designed specifically for the new Adelaide University.

    Core Responsibilities

  • Improve student learning outcomes in programs and courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • Provide leadership in learning and teaching in relation to the development of an education environment that articulates strongly with Adelaide University's strategic learning and teaching goals
  • Collaborate with Learning Designers, Designers AV & Multimedia Production, and academics to design and develop new programs and courses for delivery both on-campus and online
  • Deliver staff development and resources to support the implementation of Adelaide University's learning and teaching policies and priorities
  • Advocate and support academic staff to design and employ flexible learning and teaching strategies
  • Essential Skills and Experience

  • A doctoral qualification and/or equivalent experience related to teaching and learning in higher education
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and development of curriculum that engages diverse cohorts of learners
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with a team orientation
  • Proven commitment to professional development and learning and teaching in higher education
  • Ability to work strategically with a wide variety of academic staff and discipline areas
  • Experience with and capacity to manage multiple concurrent teaching and learning projects
  • Demonstrated research or professional experience in an area of education specialisation
