Applications are invited for an appointment as Lecturer Above the Bar
(Applied Behaviour Psychology) at the University of Galway. The post is Part
time (0.5 FTE) Lecturer (Above the Bar) on a specific purpose contract of
circa 6 months duration.
The primary responsibilities of the post will be to contribute to the MSc and
PhD programmes in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), in teaching and
examining, research supervision, clinical supervision, and programme
Candidates will hold a doctorate in ABA and BCBA Certification by the
Behaviour Analyst Certification Board. The appointee must also have relevant
prior teaching and administrative experience at third level.
The MSc in ABA is a well established programme with an annual intake of
approximately 20 students. This is a taught programme that provides
professional training in Applied Behaviour Analysis. The programme subscribes
to the scientist-practitioner model, and provides students with thorough and
integrated training in the academic, practical, and research aspects of
Applied Behaviour Analysis.
