If you have a background of working closely with staff to design and develop learning materials and resources to enhance teaching in face-to-face, online and blended environments, are creative, willing to learn, and enjoy working in a busy team environment, then we would love to hear from you.

You will be joining a specialist team of Instructional Designers, Learning Technologists and Educational Software Developers who support academic colleagues to creatively use teaching and learning technologies and embed their use into the curriculum in a sustainable and ongoing way.

Our ideal applicant will possess

  • Web design experience, with a focus on UX (ideally gained in a WordPress environment)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and ability to communicate confidently with different types of stakeholders
  • Experience in supporting staff in learning and teaching in an HE environment
  • Knowledge of appropriate learning design and digital pedagogies
  • The role is offered on a part-time (29.2 hours per week/0.8 FTE) basis, available from Autumn 2022. The Centre has embraced hybrid working and the expectation is that you will work a minimum of 40% of your time on campus with the option of working the rest of your time from home. Both regular and flexible working patterns can be considered.
