The School of Health Sciences is part of the highly successful and vibrant Faculty of Education Health and Human Sciences. We are frequently commended for our partnership working across the health and social care sector, working with our partners to grow and develop the local health and care workforce. We are currently working with Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) to promote learning disability nursing as a career, with the aim of expanding the number of successful applicants entering learning disability nursing.

The post

The focus of the post is to increase applications and enrolments in the Learning Disability Nursing courses at the University of Greenwich. This will be achieved through sector-wide networking, developing initiatives, and seeking new opportunities to raise the profile of Learning Disability Nursing as a career, and the University's position within Schools and Colleges across Kent and Medway, East Sussex, and Essex. The post holder will build strong relationships, working in partnership with key stakeholders and organisations to share resources and increase impact.

The person

As a graduate, you will have demonstrable experience of working across a range of organisations and ideally, although not essential, have some experience of working within learning disability and or community services. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of relationship management and engagement. You will possess excellent organisational skills. The post will require you to travel widely around Kent, surrounding counties, and South East London. If appointed you will join a highly experienced learning disability education team based both at the University of Greenwich and within KCHFT. Full or part-time considered, including joint appointments or secondments, with agreement from your current employer.
