    Let's talk about the role.

    This role is responsible for the product management of RMIT Europe's portfolio of short online courses in the European and UK markets. In this role you will manage a roadmap that includes bringing new products to market as well as managing and maintaining existing courses within our current portfolio.

    You will liaise with RMIT clients to identify, scope, and define new course opportunities in collaboration with RMIT academics, working closely with RMIT Europe's Partnerships and Engagement team. You will ensure delivery of our contracts for educational products, meeting all client expectations.

    You will be the spokesperson for the products throughout their journey to market (B2B and B2G) and will be responsible for creating and communicating a product vision that meets the needs of learners and partners and resonates with our market.

  • Substantial experience working in (or close to) product development or product management in a related field e.g. education or technology

  • Experience in driving growth and optimisation of a product portfolio, through collaboration and influence

  • A desire to create great outcomes for learners and be prepared to get hands on with activities related to course build, delivery, and improvement

  • Growth mindset and a drive to continually look for improvement and learn from mistakes – taking it all in along the way

  • Understanding of the online higher education sector, with a desire to lift learner outcomes and meet the challenges of lifelong learning and the world of work head on.

  • Experience in executive education is also desirable.

  • What will you be accountable for?

  • Work with RMIT clients to identify opportunities for new short courses and identify suitable academics to deliver to the courses

  • Develop product strategy and business cases for new short courses and major product refreshes

  • Conduct and facilitate workshops with industry partners and subject matter experts to identify current trends + opportunities and validate key product assumptions

  • Present to RMIT Europe stakeholders and gather feedback on product thinking, product market fit and how products contribute to achieving RMIT Europe's mission and vision

  • Ensure that new courses launched into the portfolio are being supported, delivered and marketed in line with portfolio product standards

  • Manage the product lifecycle of courses in the portfolio to ensure courses are being maintained, improved, or decommissioned based on key success drivers

  • Provide insights, reports, and feedback on the performance of courses for partners as per contract requirements
