Learning and Engagement Coordinator Temporary Cover

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint maternity cover for our Learning and Engagement Coordinator who will be part of our innovative and friendly Community & Learning team at Kettle's Yard. This is an opportunity to enable the delivery of our exciting Learning and Community programme and welcome our audiences to engage with and enliven Kettle's Yard.

Collaboration and creativity are two of Kettle's Yard's organisational values and are integral to this role. The Learning & Engagement Coordinator works closely with colleagues from across all departments, artist facilitators, external partners, and volunteers to develop and successfully deliver inclusive and engaging projects and activities including the delivery of our Schools programme. The role also administers and oversees our valued Kettle's Yard's Volunteer programme.

If you have a passion for engaging people with the visual arts and experience of developing and maintaining creative partnerships then we would love to hear from you. The role provides temporary cover for maternity leave. There is some evening and weekend work for which Time Off In Lieu is provided. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

About Kettle's Yard: Kettle's Yard is the University of Cambridge's modern and contemporary art gallery. It was founded in 1957 by Jim and Helen Ede. It consists of a beautiful house with a remarkable collection of modern art and a gallery that presents a diverse programme of modern and contemporary art exhibitions. It has an international reputation for its programmes which includes concerts of new and classical music and an extensive and diverse programme of learning and community activities.

Temporary cover: This post is fixed-term for 13 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
