Primary Purpose: Summer Research Assistant for CVM SARE project
Lab Assistant will report to Dr. Jose Peralta, College of Veterinary Medicine. Work will involve travel to dairies, collection of samples including colostrum, transport of samples to lab, microbiological analysis of samples, project coordination, data entry and management.

The employee will also be required to handle and collect samples from domestic animals. The employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions, and cold. The noise level in this setting is usually moderate due to the proximity of various office machines and light office traffic.
