You will work on the customization of hardware and software components
installed on the drones of the faculty. You will actively develop new
solutions for new applications. You will be asked to customize hardware and
software components of drones conceived for remote sensing applications in
indoor and outdoor environments. You will need to collaborate with staff from
different departments of the Faculty and understand specific problems from the
different domains. Knowledge of ROS and programming languages (e.g. Java, C,
python) will be needed to synchronize hardware and run scripts to customize
functions on the navigation and functioning of the drone.
Have a MSc or BSc (or equivalent) in Robotics or adjacent disciplines.
Experience in robot customizations is required. Specific experience on
flying platforms is a plus.
Have expertise in the customization of the different components of robotic
platforms, synchronization of different hardware and software components.
Have programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Java,
Are familiar with ROS (Robot Operating System)
Have excellent communication skills and good English language proficiency
Have an affinity with a multi-cultural education environment, excellent
work ethics, and commitment to the job (desirable)
We offer an inspiring and challenging international environment for 32 40
hours per week. You will be employed for one year. Prolongation of the
contract after this period is a possibility.
Gross monthly salary between € 2,700.00 and € 3,606.00 (fulltime)
depending on experience and qualifications (job profile Education and
Research Technician V-profile, level 2).
A holiday allowance of 8% of the gross annual salary and a year-end bonus
