Division of Hematologic Malignancies and Cellular Therapy
Design, create, and enhance workflows, databases, front-end interfaces, and
other computing tools for tracking, moving, distribution, sharing,
integration, and analysis of a variety of genomic, genetic, phenotypic,
clinical and related data.
Supervise the maintenance of project related mouse colonies and experiments
related to genetically engineered mouse models. Skills in animal husbandry;
animal identification and tracking (ear punch and/or tail tagging).
Harvesting samples for histology for use in sample sequencing. Supervise the
order of supplies and mice for project by LRA1.
Train lower level technicians in data preparation for use in analysis. Review
the collected data by LRA1 for accuracy. Collaboration with laboratory
personnel for identifying, evaluating and recommending new and emerging
technologies to improve the generation of genetic models and capabilities.
Mouse handling, flow cytometry, assay development, sample processing, database
maintenance, radioisotope experience
Work requires a bachelor's degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology or
other directly related scientific field.
Work requires four years of research experience. A related master's OR AN
EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE degree may
offset required years of experience on a 1:1 basis, e.g., a two year master's
degree in lieu of two years of experience.
