Occupational Summary “The Laboratory for Aids & COVID-19 Vaccine Research & Development research on neutralizing antibody responses, a key component of a number of successful vaccines for other infectious diseases. We're seeking qualified applicants to be part of this internationally recognized laboratory for providing standardized assessments of neutralizing antibody responses in preclinical and clinical COV ID-19 vaccine studies.”

Work Performed:

Routine performance of neutralizing antibody assays in various cell lines in support of clinical HIV/AIDS and COVID vaccine development.

Prepare and titrate virus cultures in various cell lines.

Interpret, analyze, and report data.

MaintainGCLP records and procedures.

Responsible for the maintenance of cell lines.

Maintain sufficient inventory or materials and supplies.

Determine and set up instruments, material and operate laboratory equipment.

Assist in the preparation of virus stock and plasmid NDA for shipping.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Qualifications Education Work requires a bachelor's degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology or other directly related scientific field.

Experience Work requires two years of research experience. A related master's O degree may offset required years of experience on a 1:1 basis, e.g., a two-year master's degree in lieu of two years of experience. R AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
