Under supervision from the Principal Investigator, the incumbent performs standard repetitive laboratory procedures that require technical knowledge and skill in the field of structural biology. The goal is to determine structures of proteins using Cryo-electron microscopy (Cryo-EM) and probe molecular determinants of recognition of macromolecular complexes using cell culture assays.

$21.26 - $25.00 (hourly)

Required:

Basic computer skills. Experience with mouse tissue or bone marrow isolation. Experience performing antibody purification.

Ability to carry out independent research projects. Experience using PCR.

Experience with gel electrophoresis and western blotting. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Willing to work with mice.

Laboratory research experience in a biochemistry/molecular biology laboratory.

Experience with protein purification.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences.
