This is part time (0.5fte) contract for 12 months with the possibility of extension subject to funding.
The Directorate of Research, Innovation and Enterprise, is recruiting for an exciting role as Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) Coordinator to support the RIE Directorate in developing and supporting the University's goal of increasing and enhancing our KTP activities, bidding and support.
The overall purpose of this diverse and dynamic post is to provide support to the development and growth of the Knowledge Transfer Partnerships portfolio at Oxford Brookes University. The successful applicant will work closely with the Knowledge Exchange Manager and KTP Manager to enhance and diversify our KTP portfolio. The post holder will also liaise with academics and other professional staff in faculties involved in KTPs as well as KTP Associates and companies. The position will be of strategic importance in identifying potential KTP knowledge bases across the university, including identifying academics, departments, and research groups that have the potential to develop KTP activity and identify potential collaborative synergies and possibilities across the university and with external organisations.
This is an interesting and varied position, and we are looking for a candidate who enjoys developing relationships with colleagues and external organisations, supporting KTP training and events, and developing and supporting our KTP activities. You will work on your own initiative as well as part of a team and you must possess excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working.
