This role is an exciting opportunity for candidates with a degree (high level 2.1 or above) in either Engineering, Surveying, Architecture and Built Environment, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economy or Management related disciplines with a good understanding of digital technologies, digital application development process, requirement capturing and analysis, and management and IT systems in the Built Environment. Preferably a Postgraduate with an understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM), process improvement and digital construction.
This KTP project aims to create a Building Information Modelling (BIM)-based automated health and safety rule and code compliance checking system, within the companies Construction (Design and Management) aligned Design Risk Management processes, to improve the health and safety performance and information management of infrastructure engineering design in the construction industry.
Candidate Profile : A degree (high level 2.1 or above) in either Engineering, Surveying, Architecture and Built Environment, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economy or Management related disciplines.

Aston University: You will work in a project team with Dr Tala Kasim, Dr Maxwell Antwi-Afari and Dr Algan Tezel from College of Engineering and Physical Sciences at Aston University, and the Senior Management Team at Arcadis Consulting (UK) Limited with the support of the IUK's Knowledge Transfer Adviser.
Location: You will be based predominantly at Arcadis Consulting (UK) in Manchester but will also have access to facilities at Aston University in central Birmingham. Some travel to key clients may also be required.
