Responsible for planning and implementing services to benefit the campus community.Duties:
100DUTIES: Purchases and stocks refreshments for resale. Works closely with the KBC Administrative Service staff in adhering to University purchase systems. Responsible for exploring and implementing expanded services if the Association budget needs and warrants it. Attend Executive Board and General Membership meetings presenting reports as necessary. Develop with the Association short and long term goals and objectives. Maintains appropriate inventory. Participate in leadership development activities. May require driving. Student employee under 18 years of age may not drive in relation to the job.Essential
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Willingness to meet jobs time requirements. Ability to share enthusiasm, motivating others. Willingness to learn leadership skills to enhance effectiveness of Association. Maintain enrollment of a minimum of 6 credit hours at UA with a minimum of 3 of those credit hours at KBC-KPC. Willingness to support Association goals and objectives. Good organizational and communication skills.
Required Education or Training:
Must be elected by vote of KBC Student Association members. Officers are paid employees of the University of Alaska, and must meet the terms and conditions of student employment according to Board of Regent's policy. Maintain enrollment of a minimum of 6 credit hours at UA with a minimum of 3 of those credit hours at KBC-KPC.
This is a Student Assistant 1 position paying $10.85 per hour.
