Junior / Assistant / Associate Research Scientists (Full-Time)

The lab of Dr. Farnaz Shamsi in the Department of Molecular Pathobiology at the New York University College of Dentistry (https: // www. shamsilab.com/) has open positions for two Junior/Assistant/Associate Research Scientists. Appointment rank is contingent upon experience and educational qualifications.

The Shamsi lab studies the intercellular crosstalk in the adipose microenvironment to understand the fundamental mechanisms regulating metabolic health and disease. We use genetic mouse models, single cell transcriptomics, imaging, and a wide array of molecular and cellular biology tools to understand adipose tissue development, function, and its role in metabolism. The successful candidates will join a vibrant and collaborative team of scientists. We are committed to foster a culture of teamwork and the highest level of scientific rigor and integrity.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to work independently and in collaboration with other lab members.
