Marketing Coordinator- Designs and executes year-round targeted marketing campaigns for students in summer kids camps and non-credit workforce and community education programs. Supports the marketing work of the College as needed.

The salary range for this position is $44,673.56 to $67,010.34 per year.

  • Responsibilities
  • 35% Plans and designs targeted marketing campaign strategies based upon diverse CWL projects. Implements strategies through use of digital media and print..
  • 20% Develops outreach content pieces and strategies including publications, paid advertising, video development, television interviews, press releases, flyers and brochures for CWL programs
  • 15% Creates consistent, meaningful content on social media platforms to increase engagement through writing and editing social media posts.
  • 10% Works with external vendors and college webmaster to load/revise/maintain selected platform for CWL course/program content on the website - Grayson.edu
  • 10% Maintains monthly statistical metrics/analytics and prepares reports to provide evidence of outreach return on investment. Provides consistent tracking of product sales/enrollments related to the CWL.
  • 5% Works with the Marketing and Communications team to support the needs of the department.
  • 5% Performs other duties as needed or assigned by supervisor

    Qualifications

    Experience: Two to three years experience in outreach/recruitment activities or similar skills. Three to five years experience in project management and/or implementation is preferred. .

    Education: A Bachelor's degree.

    Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the college for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.

    Other Skills: Proven experience in design/implementation of outreach campaigns and resource/partnership development. Background in media, public relations, workforce development, industry relations, and/or economic development is preferred. Excellent written and communication skills. Strong organizational and project management skills. Skills in social media and publication design.

    Physical Requirements: The work is typically sedentary. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to do the work.

    Work Environment: Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a typical office.

    This position requires submission of copies of transcripts and three professional references. This position is considered a security sensitive position and will require a criminal background check.
