This position is open to current University of Maine employees within the Office of Student Financial Aid only.
Member of the Senior Management Team in Financial Aid for the University of Maine and University of Maine at Machias. Oversight of student employment operations on Orono and Machias campuses. Responsible for the strategic direction and administration of student employment. Responsible for the overall management of all aspects of the Job Locator and Development (JLD) program, including development of off-campus jobs to meet the requirements of the federal grant program that funds the JLD program. This includes building and maintaining relationships with local employers to develop off-campus employment opportunities that reinforce the educational and professional goals of UMaine students. Responsible for creating and maintaining Student Employment publications, newsletters, websites and social media outlets. Responsible for administration of all aspects of UMaine's Satisfactory Academic Progress policy. Typical hiring salary for this position is $70,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
