IT Officer in Data and Security in the Information Technology Services (ITS) (2 posts) (Ref.: 519419) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, preferably with working experience in IT. They should have excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; knowledge of IT services and applications; and good organizational and interpersonal skills.
They should have sound knowledge, skills and a successful track record in at least one of the following areas:

The appointees will be responsible for services of data and security; support users in meeting University's requirements of information security (e.g. information system assessment and privacy impact assessment); provide emergency support in relation to security operations; collaborate with different stakeholders for matters relating to the operation of security devices; keep up with the emerging technologies and industry best practices to protect campus network against cyberattacks; recommend and enforce security policies, procedures and standards to ensure information security, data privacy and its integrity; develop and support information security systems in detecting, alerting and mitigating cyberattacks; provide the second level support regarding data and security services; and perform other duties as assigned.
